Super Tuesday Aftermath..The winners and losers

McCain was the big winner for the Republican on Super Tuesday while Hillary have a slight edge over Obama...
Alright people,Super Tuesday has just ended, and what a day it was.I woke up early in the morning at 7am and the first thing I saw on the news was Mike Huckabee winning the West Virginia, and then as the hours goes by,more result started coming out.
I am not going to tell you who is the winner in every state,Im going to tell you who won the important state such as California and New York.On the democratic side,Hillary Clinton managed to get the win in most of the important state such as California,New York, and New Jersey though I was hoping for Obama win.But Obama didnt do that worst actually. He won more states than Hillary but unfortunately, the states that he won was not as significant such as in California or New York. But rest assure,it is not the end of the road yet. There are still other states to cast their poll yet and I think Obama is the favourite to win in most of the states.Lets hope thats the case.As I and many people have predicted before Super Tuesday, there are no frontrunners for the Democrat party yet with Hillary having a slight, just slight edge over Obama in the number of delegates.
As for the Republicans, nothing surprising actually with John McCain almost sweeping all the states they they are contesting in including California and New York.Mitt Romney didnt do to well however as he wanted too, probably because Mike Huckabee made some grounds. He won several states such as Georgia and West Virginia as I said earlier.Considering Mitt Romney spends more money that Huckabee does in his campaign,I think Huckabee did extremely well and he has said that he will continue on fighting, and so is Romney, who had a meeting with his advisors over whether he should continue campaining or not,and he decided he will not give up too.As much as I want to see Romney being the Republican representative,I think McCain is far ahead of Romney and I dont think that Romney will be able to beat McCain in the other states which is sad really because I dont want to see McCain becoming the president.
The only candidate from both party that did not win any state on Super Tuesday,is our old friend Ron Paul. Now,I know he has a huge support and fan base on the internet, just go to Youtube and you can find them anywhere.Ive talk to several of them and they are really passionate about Ron Paul and most of them are young people. However unfortunately for Ron Paul, polls are not won based on the popularity level on the internet. He has said that he will not give up as long as his campaign team is willing to continue doing their bit for him.I admire his attitude but unfortunately,I think his bid for president is not realistic anymore.
The next leg of the race will be held in 2 days time including Washington.I will not focus on the Republican side anymore because I think its obvious to see who is going to win the race for them.Im more interested to see the Democrat side of the race which I hope Obama will be able to bounce back and knock Hillary off her lead.I am supporting him to be the next president and I believe that he has the change that we can believe in.Till then, take care and good night.
