My movie review for 'The Great Debaters'

Ok guys,Ive just recently finished watching the movie,'The Great Debaters'.I dont know if you have heard it before because it hasnt got a lot of coverage here,but its already out in cinemas here.The movie stars include one of my favourite actor,Denzel Washington and Forest Whitaker.Not many big names but I can assure you its a good movie.So what is the movie all about you may ask? There may be spoilers though I might warn you.

Well its about a group of debaters from Wiley College who participated in many debates.At first,they wasnt a college that is well known for having a good reputation for debates but as the movie goes,you can see how their determination have able to inspire them to achieve something that they never thought they would.Denzel Washington is not one of the debaters,but he plays the role of Melvin B.Tolson,their debate coach.Unfortunately,his outside college activities have affected the team in someway,you have to see it to know what Im trying to say.But nevertheless,despite all the odd going against them,the debate team from Wiley College,like I said earlier,still manage to achieve a great result at the end of the movie.Actually it was predictable before the ending,but still its worth watching it.

This movie is actually being directed by Denzel himself.I dont know whether this was the first movie he has ever directed,but he did a great job nevertheless.Expect more movies being directed by him in the future.But whether he is the director or not,you know you expect something great in every of his movie.This movie was also being inspired by a true story back in the 1930s.If you are someone who like to be inspired,love debates,are a Denzel Washington fan like me,and you should watch this movie.Out of 5 stars,I rate this movie 3 1/2.It is worth the money you are paying for,theres not many good movie at the moment,so why not watch it.Till then,Im off to catch a new movie.If you want to see the trailer,you may visit the official website of the movie at http://www.thegreatdebatersmovie.com/
