Today was the much anticipated debate, hosted by my favourite news channel CNN and Los Angeles Times between the two remaining democratic candidate for the White House,Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton which was held at 'The Kodak Theatre,LA' where Oscars are given out and as expected, many Hollywood stars was among the audience,Pierce Brosnan among others. But the real action was up on the stage where the two candidates debate on various issues such as the war in Iraq to healthcare and even to media influence.
Well of course,I was expecting the both of them to go against each other like they did in their last debate but things were more 'civilised' I should say.I think it was probably because both of them had thought that its time to put their arguments to a stop and focus more on important issues which is of course a good thing to do.There were of course some differences in their views on several topics,in particular the war in Iraq. But my highlight of the debate was not about any arguments between the both of them but it is during a point when Hillary was asked about why someone she would represent best as an agent of change considering both the Clintons and Bush family has been taking over on the White House for the past 30 years or so in which Hillary Clinton then said in her answer,"It did take a Clinton to clean (up) after the first Bush, and I think it might take a second one to clean up after the second Bush" followed by a round of applause by the audience.
Besides that, there was not much to talk about their latest debate as we head on towards the important 'Super Tuesday' next week. For once, both of them look like they are back on good terms.Even after the debate have ended, there was a,shall we say a slight 'hug' between the both of them.Whatever the decision that Americans are going to make,we can all be sure that we will either have a first lady or a first black candidate to fight for the White House. As for now,we can all relax a little bit and see what happens on Super Tuesday, which I cant wait.In the meantime, who do you think will win most of the states of Tuesday? Do tell me your views,I welcome each and everyone of it.Thanks.
