Recent research has shown that artificial sweeteners in soda may interfere with your body’s ability to estimate how many calories you’ve ingested,so you eat more than you need.In a new rat study, animals that ate fake sugar consumed more calories overall and gained weight, compared to those that didn’t eat artificially sweetened treats. So when they say that diet soda contains less calories as compared to normal sodas, that is obviously not true,as the research has proven. Then you may ask, thats only one research,it cant be that reliable right? Well there are actually other kind of research being done as well.It was also found that for every diet soda you sip daily, your risk of becoming overweight can rise by 37 percent, according to researchers at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.37 percent is a lot, however,I dont have the data for the normal sodas but I think you will gain more weight too but not more than 37 percent because I think we all know that regular soda is a total sugar bomb.At roughly 225 calories a pop,a 20-ounce bottle of regular soda packs nearly as many calories as a chocolate bar.

Why 'diet coke' is not so 'diet' after all...
What is the first thing that comes to your mind when I say the word 'Diet Coke'? You would most probably think that diet coke or diet soda is much more healthier than the normal coke or soda because it usually says it has less calories right? Well, thats not particularly true and I tell you why.
After reading the news,I was shocked because I admit,I am a regular soda lover, not the diet ones in particular, but the regular ones and Im sure many of you out there have the same habit as me.I had always thought that being diet,it is much more healthier than the regular ones, but never had I expected it to be far more damaging to the body.I will now try to reduce my soda intake as much as I can to stay healthy.I dont know how am I going to do it,but Im going to try my best and I hope you will do the same as well for our own well being. Its not that you cant drink it anymore, just reduce the number of cans or bottles you drink each day, weeks,or better months.Typically speaking, soda contains zero nutrients so in shorter term, there is no use of drinking soda. The results of the research scares me,I dont know how much overweight percentages that have been contributed by drinking sodas in my body, but somehow rather,I manage to keep my body fit,no serious health problems so far and hopefully nothing crops up in the future.I also try to drink fruit juice once in a while, they are full of vitamins,so its good for you.Hope this post has help you on keeping yourself fit one way or another.Dont just be a consumer,be an alert consumer yes? If you want keep diet, then stay away from the diet soda.Till then, stay safe and keep being healthy.
