If you are a football fan,then Im sure you have heard the good news yesterday.If there is another club in the league that I badly want to beat other than Sunderland and Middlesbrough (because of the derby thingy of course),another club that I also badly want to beat is Tottenham and we did just that yesterday,beating them 4-1 at their own backyard,the White 'Fart' Lane as I like to call it.
Why you may ask? Its because the Tottenham supporters has always thought that their club is better than my club after their small revival since Martin Jol took over and just because they have recently won the Carling Cup does not mean they are better than us.We are still better and bigger than them no matter how much trophy they are going to win and no matter how much higher their position are than us.Anyway,I want to talk about yesterday's result.We were trailing 1-0 down on the 26th minute and when the half time was almost over,Nicky Butt pops out of nowhere to score the equalising goal.Then in the second half,we scored 3 more from Geremi,Owen and Martins.We should have scored more had Spurs keeper did not made some fantastic saves.But what was more pleasing for me is that our performance in the second half was like me,fantastic,probably our best second half performance throughout the whole season.
Despite the two win in the last two games,we cannot guarentee our safety yet but we are getting closer and closer to safety.If we can keep producing that performance in the second half for our remaining games,Im sure we will be safe.When you are losing,you hope that the next game will not come soon enough but when you are winning,you hope the next game would come very soon.Everything is going very well now and hopefully it will continue to so.Till then,see you after our next match which is against fellow strugglers,Reading this weekend.And remember,Im fantastic.Be champions.
