Rain and more rain....whats happening?

As you would have notice,it has been raining heavily in the past few days. Some of you are complaining while some are enjoying the cold weather. But whatever it is,Im sure you want to know the reason behind it.No it is not due to global warming, but it is due to a phenomenon known as Equinox.

So what the heck is Equinox you may wonder? Well,it simply occurs when the centre of the Sun is directly above the Earth's equator. This happens twice a year during March and October, which happen to be the two months which Singapore always experience hot weather.Im not creating stories up.This is all from the weather agency yeah. The main culprit according to them is the natural climate cycle,La Nina.Im sure it is not the first time you have heard the word before. It is stronger this year due to a 2-degree Celsius drop in sea surface temperature, causing the wind to bring rain clouds to Southeast Asia. And as you have study in your primary school science, when there are rain clouds,of course there is rain! It hasnt been raining today (Friday) however this morning till the time Im posting this of course, how interesting, but nevertheless, the weatherman says the next few days are expected to be rainy.

So if you are planning to go out, please remember to bring your umbrella.I dont think this weekend would be the perfect time to go picnic by the beach.Ive got a chalet to attend next week, hopefully it doesnt rain! If not,we are going to have to do the BBQ indoors.I dont know if they let us to do such thing but Im sure if we all do it secretly, nobody will find out unless they have water sprinklers in the chalet itself.Till then, take care, dont play in the rain or you will catch a cold or a fever, unless you are an idiot of course who love being sick.
