Im coming home Newcastle....

This is the lyric to the song that can be heard on my blog, its called 'Im coming home Newcastle' by a singer which I dont know of.I have made some modifications to the lyrics to suit with my situation of having to live in Singapore, but most of them are the same. The modifications is not done to reproduce the song but for the sake of adapting to my situation only. Its a great song especially for me personally because in the furture,Im planning to come back home to Newcastle, its my birth land even though they wrote down Singapore as my place of birth on my birth certificate, but I think there must be some mistake or something. But for now,you may just sing along if you want to...

I had to come to Singapore,Coz I couldn't find a school,But I don't intend to stay long,If I make a few quick tool
It's warm up there in Summer,It's like sitting inside an oven,But I wish I was on the Quayside,Looking at the old Tyne Bridge'
I'm coming home Newcastle,I might as well been in jail,And walk the streets all day all night,For a bottle of an old Brown Ale,I'm coming home Newcastle,If you never win the Cup again,I will brave the dark at St. James's Park,At the Gallowgate End in the rain,I'm coming home...

And I'm proud to be a Geordie,And to live in Geordie land,Some people think we bowdy,And we are hard to understand,And they say it's just self pitty,And we not so very tough,But the people in the big fat City,Haven't had it half as rough,
I'm coming home Newcastle,You can keep your Singapore shine,And walk the streets all day all night,For a bottle of the River Tyne,I'm coming home Newcastle,I wish I had never been away,And kiss the ground for the welcome sound,Of me mother saying hinny howay,I'm coming home...

And I miss the auld blind busker,Who stands at Fenwicks door,He plays a mean accordion,You've all seen him there before
And I love the Geordie heroes,There's so many famous names,Like Lindisfarne and Gazza,Brendan Foster and the Gateshead games
I'm coming home Newcastle,I might as well been in jail,And walk the streets all day all night,For a bottle of an old Brown Ale,I'm coming home Newcastle,If you never win the Cup again,I will brave the dark at St. James's Park,At the Gallowgate End in the rain
I'm coming home Newcastle,You can keep your Singapore shine,And walk the streets all day all night,For a bottle of the River Tyne,I'm coming home Newcastle,I wish I had never been away,And kiss the ground for the welcome sound,Of me mother saying hinny howay
I'm coming home Newcastle,I might as well been in jail,And walk the streets all day all night,For a bottle of an old own Brown Ale...

I'm coming home Newcastle,If you never win the Cup again,I will brave the dark at St. James's Park,At the Gallowgate End in the rain,I'm coming home Newcastle...
