I do not know if you had received this email before or not,but Im pretty sure many of you have received it at least once. For those of you who are yet to receieve it,I think it is a matter of time before you open it on your email.Basically, there is an email that has been circulating on Hotmail users saying that Microsoft is reportedly planning to close down because there is an overflowing percentage of population using one name to sign up for lots of new and different accounts.Hence, this is causing them a shortage of new username accounts.
What do you need to do to keep your existing account then? All the informations can be found on the email itself and there is even a closing date for you to do so.It then says "Any new account that is being signed up for will be charged at the cost of US$10.00 a month".If you ask what I think of it,I say its all a big SCAM and absolute rubbish. There are other version of how they will delete your account,Im sure you know it but one thing for sure, its all one big SCAM.It has been going on for how many years.I know that because Ive been receiving it since I first start to register with Hotmail and anyone who falls for it is really foolish unless you are new to the Internet world of course.I can tell you that I will not do what the email told me to if I wish to keep my existing account and I can guarentee you my account will still be intact after the closing date.
You dont really have to worry if youre account will going to be deleted if you do not follow what has been written on the email.Hotmail does have a way to eliminate old, unused accounts. If you don't log on for a certain number of days,I cant quite remember it,your account is deleted.Plus,do you honestly think MSN is too lazy to tell all the account users that they are closing down.I mean if they want to do it,they should give each and everyone of us a direct email, not one that is forwarded by other people. The main thing, this problem will still continue, whether youre using Hotmail or other type of accounts. It is not unusual for pranksters and scammers to back up their sting with links to well-known websites.
If you really want to be 100% sure that those type of emails are actually true, then maybe you can simply copy a snippet of text from the questionable e-mail into any search engine or check the source. If you dont believe in chain letters, which I think is a waste of time, then you shouldnt believe in this kind of fraud either.I had to speak out regarding this issue because time and time again,I keep getting this irritating emails from my friends.Whether they truly believe it or not,Im not so sure but I dont want to get these type of emails anymore. Its a complete was of time to open it and then to read it.If you want to forward it,just remember to take out my email from your forward list understood?
