Clinton beats Obama in Pennsylvania...

In the latest round of the never ending U.S. Presidential race for the Democrats,U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton managed to beat Senator Barack Obama once again, this time in the state of Pennsylvania.Clinton edged rival Sen. Barack Obama in the Democratic primary in Pennsylvania, saying victory showed she had the better shot at winning in November than he.Yeah right.

Here is the statistics so far. With 80 percent of Pennsylvania precincts reporting,Clinton was leading Obama 55 to 45 percent.A total of 158 delegates to the convention were at stake. Her win adds to those in other big states, like Ohio,New York and California and, according to her campaign, should revive questions about whether Obama can beat presumptive Republican nominee John McCain in November. As you all know,Clinton has been generally doing well in primary states while Obama tends to do well in caucuses,so it was no surprise that she managed to win in Pennsylvania this time.I cant tell you the exact number of the delegates both Clinton and Obama will be receiving because the votes are still being counted. But the latest number of delegates shows that Obama is still leading with 1,694 delegates to Clinton 1,556.The numbers is expected to change after the entire vote has been counted of course, and Hillary Clinton will definitely close up the gap but Obama will still have the lead nevertheless.

It has been a very long time hasn't it since the last round of poll, about 6 weeks ago or something.Again,I was hoping for a Obama win but it hasnt happened. But I have expected it looking at the polls before the vote got underway which shows Clinton leading the way and the result tells the same story.Of course I am disappointed but we are still in the race.I expect Obama to bounce back and do well in the next round of poll. For me,it doesnt matter how many times Hillary Clinton will win again in the upcoming primaries, but Obama will still be the Democratic nominee. For your information, the next primary will be in Indiana and North Carolina which will take place on the 6th of May.

There is not much voting left to do,whatever the outcome is in the remaining primaries, the superdelegates will still play a part in determinating which candidate should be the nominee and I have no doubt in my mind that that person is going to be Barack Obama.Till then see you next time.
