'A Conversation With The Blogging God'

It's Saturday today and its time to post another edition of the section I call 'A Conversation With The Blogging God." On this week post,I manage to catch up with another foreign student in the class. He's big,he's strong, and you dont want to mess with him.He is none other than Mr Jeffry Komala.

Hi there Jeffry.First of all, thanks for your time to do this interview.Let's get down to business.Fill us in on what has been happening.

I am currently studying in Nanyang Polytechnic and taking the Informatics course.

I see.You have been in the school for quite a while now.How has it been so far? Are you enjoying yourself?

It's been good,I have made some new friends, even though there are only 9 boys in my class.I am also enjoying the course as well. Its great to learn some IT and business stuff at the same time. The only disappoinment is that my school is very far and I always waste every 2 hours of my day travelling there.Nevertheless,I am still enjoying myself.

Now,if I am not wrong, you are still in the same school as your girlfriend. Was it fated or did you guys plan it out first because of your strong love for each other?

Well, you could say that we had plan it,but the main point why I have decided to choose NYP was because of their low cut off points for the Business Informatics course, which can be as low as 18,as compared to other Polytechnics such as Temasek or Singapore Poly. Therefore, the only choice that I can take was the one in NYP as I got 18 points for my L1R4.Anyway,it's also good to be in the same school with my girl as I will not have any difficulties going around Singapore to meet her.

I see.Going back to the past,is there anything that you miss about our old school?

Yeah,I miss ALL of the guys in 5A and not to mention the favourite words and phrases of Mdm Wong, like,'Yes,Sit,Standup,Take out your weapon' and many more of course.I also miss bulls***ing with the guys too like Azam (Laughter) .

Who was it in the class that you felt you was most comfortable with and why?

Everyone! That's because we have known each other for about 3 and 5 years for some,so it's comfortable for me to talk with everyone from the class.

What was your most memorable moment in BNSS if you can remember one?

I can only remember clearly the time when I was in Sec 2 and was bullied by JianWei.Although he didn't mean any harm,it eventually became a serious case, but fortunately though, the problems were solved. My Secondary 2 life was very very playful.

For most of us,we only met you and got to know you at some point of time during our time in BNSS.How long have you actually study in Singapore and why did you chose to study here?

I have been studying here for 7+ years now.My parents brought me here to study as Singapore education system is much more better than Indonesia's,that's why they had brought me here to study.

Do you think things would be much different for you now had you stayed in Indonesia and not come to Singapore?

Hmm I don't think it will have much difference. But I enjoy studying in Singapore. The classroom and schools here are all very clean.Take a look at the schools in Indonesia if you have the opportunity and you will know what I mean.

In a way,I understand what you are trying to say.Moving on,what are your plans after Polytechnic then?

I think I will be working in Singapore after that as I had signed a tuition grant with the government here. Therefore in return,I need to work in a Singapore-based company for at least 3 years.

I see.And finally, any final words for our friends who are reading this right now?

I hope that they will plan another gathering during the June holiday. All the people should better be free, especially Azam (Laughter). It would be great if the whole class can come if we are going to have another gathering.

Alright noted that.We have come to the end of the conversation.I hope you have enjoy reading it as much as I did.Till next time, see ya!
