The 5A Guys Day Out...

Alright, yesterday me and a few of the boys from 5A went out to meet and update each other on what has been happening to us since we left BNSS. The venue was at Marina Square and the time to meet was at 2pm, according to Joey that is. But he and Clements came at 2.20pm. Zhuan Liang came first, then me followed by Joey and Clements and then Alex. We then thought about going to have our lunch first but some of the guys thought it would be better if we watch the movie first.

We had plan to watch either Kung Fu Panda, The Happening, or The Incredible Hulk and at the end, we chose The Happening instead. And by that time, Jeffry, Danial and Azam made their way to the cinema so we bought 8 tickets for the show and Joey was really kind enough to treat us all! Yes he did! I felt bad but since it was his decision, I thought let it be then. The movie was OK. It was about people getting infected with a toxin gas which admitted into the air that causes people to become suicidal. So in the movie, you will get to watch the different disgusting ways of how the people actually kill themselves. Some of the scenes are scary while others are outright funny. These kind of movie can sometimes be great and sometimes bad and I have to say it is bad for me. The trailers are always good but the movie itself is bad. The ending was boring but it gets you thinking what was the actual cause of the toxin being admitted into the air. Joey said that there might be The Happening 2, but I doubt there will be, these kind of movie will usually end like that and there wont be another one coming out and I hope not as well. So if you are planning to watch The Happening, I suggest that you wait for the DVD instead.

And then the movie ended, it was 5pm. Everyone was crazy acting as if the toxin in the movie also existed in the real world but fortunately it do not exist, because if it did, I wouldnt be sitting here writing this down right? We went to lunch/dinner after that at Swensen but Zhuan Liang made a move first because he is having his dinner elsewhere closely followed by Alex who needed to go to the airport. We ordered the food only at Swensen and not any drinks, they provided free plain water so we thought we could save money if we bought the food only. As we were finishing, Syairazi and Wee Tiong joined us. We talk crap then and ask for the bill. It was $92. Everyone contributed in and we were off to Suntec for the IT show and on the way there, we bumped into Mr Chew from BNSS who was doing some shopping alone. He's teaching in Sports School now though. He talked with some of us and praised us for still being close together. We then reached Suntec, the place was packed because of the IT show. Wee Tiong then went home followed by Joey while the rest of us went looking around. Jeffry and his girlfriend was finding something Im not sure but I think they got what they wanted at the end. My legs were aching. We have been walking around for 2 hours or so and it was 9pm. Syairazi said he wanted to grab a bite and I wanted to go home by then so I cant join them. And so that was the end, at least for my story.

It was fun hanging around with the guys once again. Its been a while since I last saw some of them so it was nice to meet again. I certainly hope it wasnt the last. Maybe we can meet again before year end because next year, I wouldn't have anymore time to see you people I think. So you guys take care and till we meet again next time.
