Maid abuse baby...

This is not the baby btw...

I dont know if you have heard or seen this story on the news today. There was one news which talk about how a maid abuses the baby of the family she works for.If you miss the news today, let me just roughly tell you what happened.

Well, the parents of the baby have been feeling very suspicious of their maid when she is left alone to take care of their baby, which I think is 2 months/years old,I cant quiet remember. So they decided to install a CCTV in their house to capture everything that is happening when the maid is left alone to take care of the baby and they were completely shocked when they watch back the tape,I was shocked too and I think anyone who had watch the footage would be shocked as well.It shows clearly how the maid abuses the baby by in many ways which I find difficult to describe.I dont know what will happen next, because Im not sure if the family have reported the maid to MOM,or maybe the police,I dont know but if they havnt, then I would expect them to do it soon.

I often heard of cases of maid abuse in Singapore, which the maids are being abuse and not the other way round but a maid abusing a baby,I think its the first time.I dont know how prevalent the problem is here, because I couldnt find any statistics from MOM,but whatever it is,I completely condemn the maid's action,I dont think anyone would have a different feeling. But Im glad that the parents had done the right thing by installing the CCTV,at least they have a clear evidence to charge against the maid.I dont know how long will the maid continue her despicable act if she was not caught any sooner.I just hope that the baby is all right, and I hope the maid will get the punishment that she really deserve.

If you are interested to see what she did,you may watch it on 'Youtube'.Just type in the name 'oreomummi' on the search box and you will get to watch the unspeakable actions from the maid.Channel 5 news reported that the person who posted it is the baby's mother if Im not wrong and she decided to post it online to tell other parents out there to be very aware if they decided to leave their kids at home alone with their maids.

I just hope that this will be the first and the last time I heard of such incident because I cannot tell you how angry I am right now.I dont know about you people,do you have anything to say about this incident,do share your views with me.Till then, take care and be more aware if you are dealing with the same situation as well.

Finally,they are married...

First there was the divorce, then the date and then he got married YET again.Well,it was no surprise really.Yes,Im talking about French President Nicolas Sarkozy.News about his marriage with former model Carla Bruni broke yesterday after the mayor, who was also the official who performed the ceremony made the announcement official.

According to him,it was also the first time in the history of the country that a president has got married in office, but actually I believe it was the second time that it has ever happen. You have to go back to 1931 when Gaston Doumerque got married. It was attended by about 20 close friends and family.Mr Sarkozy of course kept the date of his wedding a secret when he told that the French people will know it when the marriage had already taken place back at a new conference in January. This was of course Sarkozy's third marriage. He ended a stormy 11 year marriage to Cecilia Ciganer-Albeniz in October.Sarkozy and Bruni reportedly met at a dinner party only a few weeks after the divorce. They first made headlines in December when they were photographed together at Disneyland theme park outside Paris. Then they went vacation on countries like Egypt and Jordan openly.

Sarkozy has a 10-year-old son,Louis, from his marriage to Cecilia and two sons,Pierre, 22,and Jean, 21,from his first marriage to Marie-Dominique Culioli.Bruni meanwhile has a six-year-old son,Aurelien, from her relationship with philosopher Raphael Enthoven. And of course as expected,Mr Sarkozy opinion poll ratings have slumped in recent weeks.During the 2007 French presidential election if you could remember,Mr Sarkozy was going against Ségolène Royal and I was supporting Mr Sarkozy all the way and when it was announced that he was going to replace Jacques Chirac,I was very pleased. The only reason why I was supporting him was because he was a pro American, unlike his predecessor or his opposition but unfortunately things hasnt been going to well since he has taken over. And when I heard about his latest divorce,I had also lost some confidence in him,but you couldnt blame him for marrying the model. He is certainly a lucky man.

Whatever it is,it is his life and if he is happy,I am happy for him as well.I just hope that this will be his final marriage and he will have to start to do something to win back confidence from the French people soon. But we can all share his joy and celebrate this happy occasion for now, well at least I am feeling that way.How about you? What do you think of Mr Sarkozy latest marriage? Do tell your views because I would love to hear them.

Aviation history made yesterday...

So,the much anticipated and much fought for route between the respective budget airlines of Malaysia and Singapore,AirAsia,Tiger Airways and Jetstar Asia made history yesterday when both AirAsia and Tiger Airways flew their way out to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur respectively. For the past 30 years, only Singapore Airlines and Malaysian Airlines were allowed to operate the lucrative and highly popular route, but of course things has change dramatically now with the emergence of low cost budget carriers.

Tiger Airways was the first airline to set off to Kuala Lumpur at about 10.50 am and about 5 mins later, its counterpart,AirAsia in which their CEO,Dato' Tony Fernandes made their historic arrival at Changi Airport Terminal One.But the main question is was it all worth it.Well if you compare it with the national carriers,Singapore and Malaysian Airlines,it is definitely worth it.The price for a person to travel from Singapore to Malaysia or vise versa in the national carriers,it is a whooping $440.However,if you are taking the budget airlines,it is a cheap $150 per person so its definitely worth it if you compare the financial issue but of course, you dont expect the luxury food and drinks or entertainment on the budget airlines. If you have sat on a budget airlines before, you know what I mean, but again the most important thing is that you get to travel to your destination safely yeah.As for JetStar Asia, tickets were also going for as low as 88 cents but after the promotions,a normal ticket would cost about S$200 with taxes.

If you then compare the price with the price of a coach to Kuala Lumpur or Singapore, then of course taking the coach is far more cheaper, and you even get good food and entertainment depending on what type of bus you are taking. But time wise, taking the plane is much more faster than taking the coach,if Im not wrong its 3 hours early. So if you dont like to wait for too long, then the plane is your choice. So there you have it,the advantage and disadvantage between the 3 different ways of how you may travel to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. As for me,I prefer taking the coach, because I have been used to taking it ever since I was young, though it might be long and boring watching those Malaysian expressways, but it beats having to pay the high cost of travelling on SIA.As for the budget airlines,I have never taken it before nor do I think i will ever, being it travelling to Malaysia or anywhere else, because I wont tell you why.I hope that the bus companies wont be affected too much or else I would have to think about taking the budget airlines to go to KL.

What about yourself? I would love to hear your views and what mode of transportation do you prefer and why.Do tell me yeah.

Obama and Clinton latest debate....

Today was the much anticipated debate, hosted by my favourite news channel CNN and Los Angeles Times between the two remaining democratic candidate for the White House,Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton which was held at 'The Kodak Theatre,LA' where Oscars are given out and as expected, many Hollywood stars was among the audience,Pierce Brosnan among others. But the real action was up on the stage where the two candidates debate on various issues such as the war in Iraq to healthcare and even to media influence.

Well of course,I was expecting the both of them to go against each other like they did in their last debate but things were more 'civilised' I should say.I think it was probably because both of them had thought that its time to put their arguments to a stop and focus more on important issues which is of course a good thing to do.There were of course some differences in their views on several topics,in particular the war in Iraq. But my highlight of the debate was not about any arguments between the both of them but it is during a point when Hillary was asked about why someone she would represent best as an agent of change considering both the Clintons and Bush family has been taking over on the White House for the past 30 years or so in which Hillary Clinton then said in her answer,"It did take a Clinton to clean (up) after the first Bush, and I think it might take a second one to clean up after the second Bush" followed by a round of applause by the audience.

Besides that, there was not much to talk about their latest debate as we head on towards the important 'Super Tuesday' next week. For once, both of them look like they are back on good terms.Even after the debate have ended, there was a,shall we say a slight 'hug' between the both of them.Whatever the decision that Americans are going to make,we can all be sure that we will either have a first lady or a first black candidate to fight for the White House. As for now,we can all relax a little bit and see what happens on Super Tuesday, which I cant wait.In the meantime, who do you think will win most of the states of Tuesday? Do tell me your views,I welcome each and everyone of it.Thanks.
