The power of laughing...

Greetings to all the clowns and clowns wannabe out there. Today, I have something to share with you people, something important. I am sure some of you probably know that a possible reason that people are committing suicide is because of stress related problem. So today, I am going to tell you one solution to the problem and that is to lead a happy lifestyle. How do you do that? Well, do you know that just a simple thing like laughing has a lot of benefit?

I did some research and I found out that if you laugh, it helps to reduce the cortisol levels in our blood stream. Cortisol is actually a hormone that is strongly related to stress, therefore it stands to reason that reducing cortisol also reduces stress. It also help to alleviate depression. It is extremely difficult to be upset when things make you laugh. Try asking someone to do something that will make you angry and then try asking someone to tickle your body to see whether laughing actually help. Heehehehahahaha! I also found that it helps to lower blood pressure. This in turn takes pressure off the heart and decreases the risk of suffering a stroke due to high blood pressure.

Various studies have also shown laughter to increase T-Cells, a natural anti-biotic produced by the body, which boosts the immune system and helps fight infections. There are actually many other benefits of laughing but it is not possible for me to list everyone of them down. Laughter will also help you in your social standing. People of a good and fun nature who laugh easily are generally regarded as better people and this means that your friends will strive to be around with you more than the others. I for instance, like to be around people who have a great sense of humour because if you don't, then I am not interested to be your friend.

So there you go, some benefits of laughing. Try to find something funny in your everyday life. If you are looking to increase your overall health and prevent future health problems, laughter may indeed be the best medicine but of course if it is still not working for you, you should go and seek professional help and not laugh till you drop and not waking up again. Your laughter a day will keep the psychiatrist away! Let's put a smile on that face now shall we? =D Hahahahahehehehe!!
